LandlordMax Newsletter – New Bank Reconciliation Feature
Bank reconciliation is now an optional feature in LandlordMax. This feature allows you to reconcile your accounting entries with your bank statements, indicating the status of the reconciliation (reconciled, unreconciled, and discrepant), as well sort and filter the data, run reports on the reconciliation statuses, and so on. If you prefer not to use this feature then you can just keep the Reconciliation status column hidden and ignore that
field.
You can view the short and fast video tutorial by clicking here, the full length video can be found by clicking here, and the user manual page can be found by clicking here. And if anyone is interested there's also a behind the scenes post on how and why the feature was implemented which you can read by clicking
here.
With this new feature all accounting entries can be marked as unreconciled, reconciled, or discrepant which you can can then use to manage the reconciliation status of each entry. Along with the status there are a number of features that were added through the software to help with this process, including new actions, data filters, and so on. An additional 25 new bank reconciliation related reports have been added, bringing the grand total of reports to just over 175
reports. Again this feature is completely optional, you can decide to use it or not use it, it's completely up to you.
On that note we welcome you to try the new feature. You can find more details and information in the above links. And of course if you have any questions or comments please don’t hesitate to contact us and we'll be happy to answer any and all of them.
